A Stylish All Silver Hallmarked Victorian Letter Opener

A stylish silver bladed letter opener from the end of the Victorian era. This lovely example has a gently tapering hallmarked silver handle, with feather edge engraving. To each side is a vacant cartouche with repousse shells and acanthus details. The blade is also silver and fully hallmarked. An eye catching piece and a great gift idea with a practical use. Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or breaks. The handle has small surface imperfections, commensurate with age and use.
