This is an antique Canterbury. An English, rosewood three sectioned magazine stand or newspaper rack, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Wonderful craftsmanship, adding distinction to any room

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Select stocks offer fine grain interest and warm caramel hues

Presented with a quality wax polish finish

Striking X-shaped upper with circular wreath carving decorating the intersection

Turned balusters unite each stanchion, with lobed ends

Central drawer to base adding further storage, dressed with a pair of circular pulls

Raised upon squat baluster legs and riding smoothly upon brass castors to each corner
