To the top of the antique writing desk is a central scrolled lid compartment, flanked by four small drawers surmounted with solid brass galleries. The Victorian antique writing desk has an arrangement of five drawers over and around the central kneehole, each with brass knobs. Raised on four tapering square legs with brass caps and castors. Wonderful marquetry throughout. Maker’s stamp to the inside of the drawers.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor stains to the top, front, sides and leather inset (pictured). The antique writing desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
