Description

A 19th Century Coalbrookdale Cast Iron Stick Stand.

The stick stand with a dozen circular stick divisions, within a rounded and stepped surround, with an orb finial to each corner. The sides with open scrolling leaf decoration, centred by a flower head joining the cross bars. The lift out drip tray with spreading leaf handles, fitting within the chamfered sides and turret corners. The whole with broad rounded reed decoration. The underside impressed with kite registration mark and pattern number.

Date circa 1860.
