Beidermeier Striking Vienna Regulator Wall Clock – Johann Bohm – Wien

Description

A beautifully proportioned 8-day duration striking Biedermeier period Vienna regulator wall clock.

The well-made 8-day duration weight driven movement, with tapered plates, dead beat escapement, wood rod pendulum with large brass bob and striking the hours and half hours on a blued steel gong.

Ornate pie crust bezel with one piece enamel dial boasting blue roman numerals and signed “Johann Bohm in Wein” and finished with finely made blued steel hands.

A well-proportioned rosewood case with box wood stringing and gesso mouldings to the top and bottom of the case.

Serviced and guaranteed for 3 years.

Height: 47” or 107 cm
