Art Deco 0.80 Carat Minor Oil Colombian Emerald & Old Cut Diamond Ring, Circa 1920

Description

Just the most amazing vintage emerald ring. The cushion cut emerald in the centre – certified as Colombian and with minor clarity enhancement – is arguably perfect; a glowingly bright bluish green which seems almost to glow from within. The stone is rubover set in platinum, with eight old mine cut diamonds in platinum rubover settings in the surround.

Accompanied by an Emerald Report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the emerald is Colombian and has only received minor clarity enhancement.

Cut – Cushion cut emerald. The diamonds are old mine cuts.

Colour – Diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The emerald is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The emerald is approximately 0.80 carat. The total estimated diamond weight 0.92 carat

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The emerald is approximately 6.9 x 6mm. The head of the ring is 15.3 x 15.2mm and sits 6.1mm from the finger.

Size – Q 1/2 (UK) or 8.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – Stamped 18CT PLAT indicating 18k yellow gold and platinum, and tests as such.
