A Superb Colonial, Fiddle, Thread & Shell Silver Soup Ladle

A superb hallmarked silver soup ladle from the Colonial workshops of Hamilton & Co, Calcutta. This magnificent example is in the sought after Fiddle, thread & Shell pattern and has no monograms or armorials engraved. It is of superior gauge silver and is double struck (pattern front and back) With so much flatware now melted for scrap, a rare and desirable find, with a practical use. Dimensions below.
