Antique Silver Novelty Pin Cushion - Jardiniere

This is quite an unusual pin cushion, made from solid sterling silver and fashioned as a jardiniere.
 
It is clearly hallmarked on the base for London 1901 and has the maker''s mark for the highly esteemed silversmith William Comyns. The decoration is in high relief and the silver in excellent condition. The cushion has been replaced in light green felt.
