Description

Narrow marquetry inlaid rosewood secretaire abattant c.1920. Just 25½" wide. Rouge marble top within a brass moulded edge. Fall front bureau opening to reveal a small green leather work surface (height 27" when open) and a mahogany lined interior with open shelves and two small drawers. With a single drawer above the bureau and four drawers below. Symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers with floral pattern marquetry inlay to the drawer fronts and the front stiles. Inlaid stringing repeated on the sides and plinth. Further brass moulding to the plinth. Oak drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
