Wedgwood porcelain plaque, by Joseph Palin Thorley, c. 1910. The oval plaque, hand painted with a scene of four Putti, in Classical style, variously carrying a garland of flowers, a flaming torch, a trumpet, and one accompanied by a goat, before a brazier.

Within original frame.

Signed – J. Thorley.

Printed factory marks to the reverse.

Width (Framed) – 23 cm, 9 1/8”.

Depth – 16 cm, 6 1/4”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
