Hinks & Sons Wall Oil Lamp and Bracket

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900-1920 A Hinks & Sons glass oil lamp with the original, well made, brass Art Nouveau wall bracket.

The lamp without the shade measures 21cm in height and approximately 18cm in diameter around the middle. The wall bracket backplate measures 20.5cm in length and 9cm at the widest part and has four purpose made drill holes for easy attachment to a wall.

The glass funnel is 26cm in length and has the manufacturers mark on it that reads: FIREPROOF - BITRAY - CRYSTAL -FOREIGN with the trademark symbol in the middle.

The glass shade is 18cm in length and approximately 20cm in diameter. All of the parts are in very good condition and the wall bracket has been professionally polished.
