Antique English Copper Watering Can My Joseph Sankey - Rd. For 1901

Description

A wonderful English watering can in the highly desirable embossed Crocodile or Alligator Skin design and made from copper, a welcome departure from the more usual brass.

The bottom has a worn impressed signature but undoubtedly by Joseph Sankey & Son. There is also a design registration number 374625 for the year 1901, so Edwardian in era.

Excellent condition, with a few dings, usual and commensurate with age. Measures 12" across from handle to spout and standing 10 1/4" high to top of handle.
