Edwardian Visible Escapement Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A Edwardian period mahogany cased mantel clock. An arched pediment standing on brass bun feet. Marquetry chequered case inlay to the front. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell by Marti of Paris. Numbered pendulum and mechanism. A circular enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands and a visible escapement. Circa 1905.

Height 13" / 34 cms Width 10 " / 25 cms Depth 5 1/2 " / 15 cms.
