Derby Porcelain Coffee Can Pattern 804 C.1800

Description

A Regency Derby coffee can with a large loop handle with an inner spur. Decorated in a bold pattern, number 804 with a bright orange red frieze reserving stylised gilt edged leaves with finely painted veins and the frieze as a whole reserving oval cartouches painted with pink roses. Gilt bands and decoration to the handle, marked to the base with the crown over crossed swords mark in puce along with the pattern number.

It measures 5.8cm (2 1/4") high and 6.2cm (2 3/8") rim to rim and 8.6cm (3 3/8") rim to handle.

In very good condition with no damage or repair. Some wear to the gilt as can bee seen but the enamels are nice and bright still with very little wear. A couple of small spots of discolouration around the base.
