Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

The Flight, Barr & Barr period of the Worcester porcelain factory spanned from 1813 to 1840. During this era, the manufacturer produced high-end soft-paste porcelain decorated with elaborate hand-painted panels, heavy gilding, and intricate Classical motifs under royal patronage.

Regency porcelain urns were manufactured using soft-paste porcelain bodies, decorated with hand-applied enamel paints and mercury gilding. Elaborate examples included molded structural components, such as tripod legs, pierced covers for scent diffusion, and hand-beaded borders.

Authentic pieces frequently bear impressed marks such as FBB under a crown, or full script manufacturer marks written in red or brown enamel on the underside. High-grade mercury gilding, precise enamel painting, and detailed mold definitions further characterize genuine period wares.

These decorative urns are typically displayed in pairs on a fireplace mantelpiece, console table, or sideboard top. Incorporating them alongside neutral tones allows the gilded highlights and painted enamel details to act as focal points within a room.

Porcelain with gilding and overglaze enamel decoration should be dusted using a soft, dry camel-hair brush. Water, liquid chemical cleaners, and abrasive cloths must be avoided, as moisture and friction can permanently wear away historical gilding.
