Camden Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The top fitted with a 3 part sumptuous black leather writing surface, complete with tooling to the surrounds. With a series of one long central drawer (lockable, key supplied) flanked by two pairs of shorter drawers. All fitted with their original brass handles. With carved gadrooned moldings to the top and the skirt. All standing on cabriole legs, with carved shell motifs to the knees and terminating in ball and claw feet. This desk is finished to the rear so could be free standing within a room if desired. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a good colour, ready to go straight into the home or office.
