The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 25mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Birmingham 1924. The case is in good condition and it has a hinged front and back.

The lens is in good condition.
There is a hairline crack running from the centre of the dial towards number 10 but you have to look quite closely to see it.

The watch comes on a rolled gold bracelet.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box from the high end London retailer J W Benson. There is old writing to the inside of the lid, probably the details of a previous owner.
