c1820Regency Foot Stool - Professionally Re-upholstered - c1820

This lovely X-framed Regency Footstool is wonderfully presented and an excellent example.

The mahogany is well patinated and a pleasing colour. The seat has been recently professionally re-upholstered with a classic striped velour.

Below the seat frame sits the gorgeous sweeping X-frame. This is tied by a beautifully turned and carved stretcher with tulip detailing. Floral carved caps present at the top of the intersection on each side and the stool terminates with flower carved bun feet.

Overall a very lovely Regency footstool and piece of furniture which looks attractive. A rare find that will delight for years to come.
