Gents Tissot Visodate Seastar T12 wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel automatic movement, calibre 784, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 71800561 which dates it back to 1965.

The watch measures 35mm wide excluding the winding crown and 36mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel and overall the condition is good, just general light surface marks. The screw-on case back has the sailing ship image. Signed Tissot winding crown.

The lens has very minor marking but you have to look closely to see it.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, which have a little marking, centre seconds hand and date display. This is an early form of quickset where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
