A large Victorian gentleman’s freestanding cylinder top pedestal desk. Constructed from good quality mahogany this desk has 6 graduated drawers with turned pulls and brass escutcheons. The barrel shaped cylinder opens to reveal a well fitted interior of various drawers and pigeon holes and a pull out writing slide with 3 sections of brown tooled leather. The polished top with a three quarter moulded gallery to the back and sides. The freestanding back with attractive mahogany panelling and the whole standing on plinth bases.
