For your consideration are these high end matching pair of superb quality Art Deco bedside cabinets by the English furniture makers H & L Epstein. We sourced these from Mayfair in London from the owner who had owned these from new. Fresh to the market and professionally restored these cabinets won't disappoint. The beautiful sycamore blonde veneers will ensure these pieces integrate effortlessly into a modern or period home. Not only do they have the 'kerb ' appeal but are functional too. Each cabinet has a swing out shelf at the top offering extra space in the mornings for papers, cups of tea and breakfast should you so choose. Underneath is a sizeable open shelf. Beneath this is a single cupboard with it's original bakelite drop handle and offering more generously sized storage within.

Both cabinets have been professionally restored and so are offered in great condition and free from damage.

Epstein furniture is named after two London cabinet makers, Harry and Lou Epstein, who inherited the trade from their father, Morris Epstein. The Epstein Company became one of the most dominant producers of Art Deco furniture, and received recognition for being some of the finest designers of the Art Deco Styles. They custom made most of their furniture pieces using bleached walnut as the primary material. The company stands out for using materials of the finest quality, including sycamore, maple, and walnut veneer. Today their pieces of furniture are highly prized and sort after and have maintained their value throughout economic climates.
