Description

Gents 1950s Primula wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Primula, a name first registered by the Buses family of Berlin in 1910, and then again in 1950 by Gerhard Buses of Harrow, Middlesex.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is some age related pitting and marking to the plate but it is mainly to the back of the watch.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with original feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
