Oak Wellington Chest C.1880

Description

Late 19th.c. oak Wellington chest c.1880. Quite unusual in oak and just 24" wide. Seven drawers of graduated height, ideal for accessories and filing etc (internal dimensions 16½" x 11"). All the drawers are held closed with the hinged and lockable right hand pilaster. Pale oak veneers, carved corbels and turned knobs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Nice paper label inside the top drawer for the office furnishers Josephs of London. Key supplied.
