A large Ridgway porcelain slightly dished bread / cake plate from a Regency period tea service, c.1825, in pattern 2/1620. A gadrooned type moulded rim picked out in gilt, and a a shaped underglaze mazarine blue border reserving a large white central area finely painted with garden flowers in bright enamels. The framing of the reserve with rich gilt edging and a gilt painted diaper pattern over the blue ground. Pattern number painted to the reverse.
It measures 23cm (9'') wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4'') high.
In excellent condition with only very minor handling wear.
