Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The eye pieces are engraved with the makers name and address @ 51 The Strand in London. The bridge is engraved N.R.A. for the National Rifle Association.
They are lucky enough to come with their original leather case, the lid lined in red velvet and gold embossed with the maker's name and "Opticians to the National Rifle Association" / "51 Strand London" / "25 Years at Wimbledon".
Dating to c.1920, they remain in excellent working condition; the case measures 5" x 2 3/4" x 6 1/2" tall.
