Description

Antique 1917 Waltham Equity full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a seven-jewel stem-winding movement, Equity grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 21,729,763, dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the English watch case maker Aaron Dennisons. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has general light surface marks from use but nothing too detrimental at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
