The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely.
The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 18,669,326, dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in good condition, just a very slight indentation to the back of the watch, and a small mark to the side.

The glass lens has a few fairly minor marks but not too detrimental at all.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
