Pair of Antique Pine Captain’s Chairs

A fabulous pair of early 20th century antique pine captains chairs or smokers' bow chairs. The antique captain's chairs have a curved spindle back with shaped arms and a solid seat. The antique armchairs are raised on spindle shaped legs, with double ‘H’ stretcher supports. A rather pleasing pair, full of rustic charm. Beautiful grain throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the seats and legs due to the wood being stripped (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm to the one chair, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique captain's chairs remain structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. Overall, a great pair of antique pine captain’s chairs.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
