A delightful petite, vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. Excellent detailed craftmanship. The wings are beautifully enamelled and the colour is superb: a deep sky blue. The brooch is marked on the back ''Sterling Denmark'' with the designer''s mark for Volner Bahner, who graduated from the Industrial Arts & Crafts College in Denmark in 1930. There is a good fastening pin on the back.
