Pleasingly Simple Irish All Iron No End Double Bed

Description

Pleasing simple all iron Irish double no end bed suitable for standard 135cm x 190cm/4'6" x 6'3" mattress size.Good detail in decorative casting and shaping in the reeded strip iron shaped swirls. The frame has been professionally restored with joints checked for good fit and side rails strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. Frame shot blasted prior to hand paint finish in Little Green paint company Obsidian Green and waxed to preserve.

Side rail and foot height 41.5cm

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. For specifications and prices please see base and mattress section of our own web site or call for details.

We can arrange national and international delivery with reliable couriers. Please send postcode/address for quotation.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years.

We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
