Good clean early 19th century George 3rd mahogany and inlaid tea caddy in complete and original condition. The tea caddy is a pleasing shape with original turned bun feet. The front and top are inlaid with a fancy ebony and boxwood line and cross banded in tulipwood. The caddy has its original lock with working key. The inside is all original as can be seen. A slightly unusual feature is the lids just would have sat on top of the tea as there are no corner blocks for the lids to rest on and never have been. There is a small old repair at the back where one of the hinges are otherwise it is in good condition. Nice colour.
