Antique Pine Settle

A charming 19th century antique pine lambing settle. The antique pine settle has a high panelled back rest, with a solid plank seat, raised on shaped sides. A particularly pleasing example, full of rustic charm. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

Height – 143cm / Width – 142.5cm / Depth – 48.5cm / Seat Height - 44cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the seat, backrest and sides (pictured). There are splits to the bottom of both side panels, also shrinkage to the top (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm to the back, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique settle remains structurally solid and sound. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. Overall, a neat example.
