Description

Gents 1951 Longines wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 12.68Z, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 8491660 which dates it back to 1951.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just a little unevenness to the back. The inside of the case back is signed Baume, they were the importers of Longines watches for the UK and the Commonwealth.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has its original feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is light freckling across the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
