Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It is of amazing quality and is of lovely proportions.
The legs and stretchers have wonderful twisted carving and the cabriole feet are beautifully scrolled. This has an inset gold tooled leather top and a lovely moulded edge. The back is also polished, so it looks just as great from the back.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with only some minor wear beneath the polish here and there.
