Antique Silver Half Hunter Pocket Watch

Antique silver half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is engraved with the wording, HHB, Dec 7 1906.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside all three outer covers. There is some scratching inside the outer covers.

Both the front and back of the watch have nice crisp engine turned detail. The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals. The back cover has a central cartouche which has been scratched with a name (difficult to read but ties in with the HHB on the movement cover) and the date 1907.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition (there is some reflection in the photos but that’s all it is).

The dial has a short hairline on the sub seconds dial and another running up from the front but they are very faint.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
