A Victorian silver nurses belt buckle with clear hallmarks on both pieces for Birmingham 1898 and makers mark for Cornelius Desormais Saunders and Frank Shepherd. The bucke is elaborately decorated with abundant scrolls, pierced baskets and a central panel on each side of five cherubs among clouds (aka Reynolds Angels), a popular theme on Victorian silver.
