Antique Regency Style Mahogany & Rosewood Writing Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A superb antique writing table / desk in the Regency style. This was made in England & I would date it from around the 1930’s period.

The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully made and is a very useful size. The back is finished identically to the front, with three dummy drawers. It sits on harp shaped bases with sweeping sabre legs, terminating in brass casters. It is predominantly mahogany, with gorgeous rosewood cross banding throughout. The inset leather top is gold tooled and has acquired a lovely patina.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
