Mahogany butler’s tray on stand c.1900 . 27" x 21" tray with inlaid stringing to the edge, attractively shaped pierced grips on the long sides and brass hinges, allowing the sides to fold flat to make an oval table (38" x 28") or to be stored flat when not in use. Folding mahogany stand crisply turned legs and stretcher and tapering feet. Wear to the hinges means the shorter sides tend to drop slightly inwards rather than standing straight when raised. Otherwise excellent condition and colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and fitted with new webbing.
