Description

A striking modernist box in the style of Maria Pergay made from silver plate by the well renowned silversmiths, Deschamps Freres, 46 rue du Rocher, Paris. They were active from 1923, this box made c.1950.

The lid is decorated by a feather mount; the lid lifts to reveal a fitted wooden interior.

Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. 6 1/4" x 3" x 5/8".
