This nice quality large silver plated tray which is made by top silversmith Mappin & Webbs dates from the mid 20th century and is marked with the maker's details to the underside.

This stylish oval tray has ribbed edging, ribbed design handles to each end and is a good weight and size.

Marked: Mappin & Webb. Silver Plate on Copper.

Dimensions: Length including handles: 62.5 cm (24 1/2"). Width: 40 cm (15 3/4"). Height to top of handles: 5.5 cm (2 1/4").

Weight: 2.852 kg.

Condition: Very good used antique / vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and a few light marks.
