Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The jug with a raised and outswept rim, meeting the broad spout. The spout and rim decorated in raised relief, with spreading leaves, with gilt highlighting. Teh angular handle, likewise with leaf and anthemion gilt decoration.
The other side of the jug decorated with a gentleman at a burrow with his two terriers. The body tapering to a rounded foot rim with gilt banding.
Date circa 1830.
