Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Console Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb antique inlaid mahogany console / server table in the Sheraton style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It is of amazing quality, with a beautiful and useful design. It has a serpentine shaped front with canted corners, sitting on tapered legs terminating in spade feet. There are lovely brass handles, nice satin wood inlays and cross banded edges. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and wonderful grain patterns.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is fantastic for its age. There is just some minor wear beneath the polish here and there, with a beautiful overall patina.
