Description

A stunning antique French Louis XV style bureau plat desk, which I would date from around the 1930’s period.

It is of superb quality and is beautifully inlaid with stunning marquetry of various woods. This has an inverted breakfront design with lovely curved edges, it is finished on all sides so can be used as a free standing item, looking amazing from all angles. There are high quality gilt bronze mounts throughout, and the inlaid marquetry is finely executed and striking throughout, particularly on the top.

We have had this re-polished, it is in very good condition, with a gorgeous colour and beautiful patina.
