Rare Victorian Blue Pearline Glass Cake Stand by Davidson, Somerset Pattern, Circa 1895

Description

This decorative blue pearline pressed glass cake stand in the "Somerset " pattern was introduced by Davidson's in 1895. It is a very nice example with a beautiful depth of colour and decorative crenellated vaseline border. Raised on a clear blue glass pedestal foot. Marked with the registration number 254027 on the plate.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 22cm / 8.5 inches.

Height: 13.5cm /5.3 inches.

Condition:

Excellent.
