A good clean and original 17th Century Oak Coffer. With a crisply carved strapwork top rail. The legs and muntins carved with a fluted design.

Excellent colour and condition, standing well up on its legs, retaining the original shaped brackets and hinges.

Photographed with another chest with very similar carving, if not from the same workshop definitely the same area.
