Antique Neo Classical Style Tole Table Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique French Empire Neo-Classical style Tole metal table lamp in excellent original condition with floral decoration.

This lamp has a very bold form. The shade which was on this when we acquired it, is perfect for the base & is in okay condition, but does have a few marks shown in the images. I like it as is, but one could always buy a new shade in black or gold to compliment the base.

I would date this lamp to around the 1910 period. We have rewired it, so it’s in working order.

Width base – 5 inches , 13 cm

Width shade – 11 inches , 28 cm

Height to socket – 18 inches , 46 cm

Height to shade – 22 inches , 56 cm
