Silver Plated Ceremonial Goat Collar - British Legion

1940 - 1960
Description

A quality silver plate ceremonial goat collar.

Originally this was just British Legion but has been engraved with the words “The Royal” in 1971. Either side of the British Legion badge two daffodils have been engraved so therefore this would indicate is as a Welsh connection.

It is very good quality plate and the inside is lined in dark blue velvet which is in extremely good order. There is a mechanism at the back which moves to allow it to be made slightly bigger.
