Description

A small ships clock on a wooden mounted back. A brass case with opening front bezel with bevelled glass. A small 4" silvered dial with slow/fast regulation above 12 position. The dial is signed 'Henry Browne & Sons Ltd, Barking & London and Sestrel'. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism.

Height/Width 7" / 18 cm at widest point of wooden surround. Depth 4" / 10 cms. Circa 1930.

Henry Browne & Sons of Barking and London supplied many clocks to the navy and army during WW2. They worked in the late 19th and 20th century.
