N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The clock then has a fruit basket finial to the top and brass ormolu mounts to the top, bottom, and side edges of the front. Finally the case is finished by four lovely shaped feet which set it off beautifully. A very nice example of a boulle clock with then it being inlaid to the sides as well as the front.

The dial is then shaped brass with a beautiful shaped pattern to the centre. It is then set out in blue Roman numerals via twelve enamel sections. The dial is also has small dashed to the outside marking the minutes. The dial is then finished by two lovely shaped hands as well as a domed and bevelled glass set into a brass bezel.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It ticks away as it should and chimes once on the half past as well as the number of hours on the hour via a bell. It comes complete with its pendulum and winding key. The movement is also stamped “A&N 18948”.
It measures approximately:
12” / 30.5cm Tall.
6” / 15.25cm Wide.
3.75” / 9.5cm Deep.
