This FINE SMALL GEORGIAN MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST OF DRAWERS dates from circa 1780. It measures only 36.25 inches (92 cm) in width.

The CHEST has many attributes. The SERPENTINE form is very well drawn for such a small CHEST OF DRAWERS. The handles and escutcheons are original, as are the feet. The rich colour and figuring to be found on the drawer fronts is very pleasing and is emphasised by the graduation of the oak-lined drawers. They run smoothly.

Fresh to the Market, the Chest has not been through a workshop in recent times and, dependant upon taste, some restoration might be desired by the new owner.
